ProRep Yellow Desert Sand is a fine silica based sand suitable for species that originate from dry environments. It is completely natural and can be used to create an attractive landscaped environment for your pet.
 
Guaranteed free from heavy metals it is carefully washed and dried before packing so you can be confident it is free from unwanted contaminants.
 
ProRep Yellow Desert Sand can be dampened to provide areas of higher humidity if required, such as under hides, without the risk of it rotting.
 
DIRECTIONS:
Spread the substrate evenly over the bottom of the enclosure to a depth of at least 1-2".(2.5-5cm). Spot-clean daily and completely replace every two or three weeks or more frequently if heavily soiled or wet. Small areas of the substrate can be lightly sprayed to provide areas of local humidity but avoid making the substrate too wet. If you are using an under-tank heat mat as your heat source do not use a thick layer of Desert Sand as this may cause the heat mat to overheat. Please refer to the heat mat manufacturer's instructions for more information.
